Foamex printing in London

Light, rigid and razor sharp. We print foamex boards straight onto the sheet on our Fuji UV flatbed, then cut them to any size or shape on our Zund. From a single A4 sign to a full run of exhibition panels, it all happens under one roof in Uxbridge.

Printed direct, cut to any shape

Your artwork is UV printed direct onto the board on our Fuji flatbed, so colours stay bold and the edges stay crisp. Our Zund digital cutter then cuts every board to size, or contour cuts it around your design, from simple rectangles to intricate shapes.

Thickness and finishing

Choose 3mm for light signs and posters, 5mm for everyday displays and shell scheme panels, or 10mm for extra rigid boards that stand up on their own. Add a matt, gloss, dry wipe or anti graffiti laminate, and we can drill 2 or 4 holes ready for hanging.

Indoor or outdoor?

Foamex is at its best indoors and for short term outdoor use. For signs that need to face the weather for years, we recommend ACM Dibond, and for cheap temporary outdoor signs, Correx.

A complete stand built to stop people in their tracks. Freestanding walls wrapped in black and gold geometric canvas, a marble effect printed floor framed with a bold chevron border, a gold leaf printed counter and foamex stall signage to finish. Canvas and flooring printed on our 3.2m Liyu, foamex signage printed on our Fuji UV flatbed and cut on the Zund.

Armani Beach Residences, Palm Jumeirah

Luxury living, brought to the show floor. For ARADA’s Armani Beach Residences we printed every shell scheme panel on 5mm foamex, pairing sweeping architectural imagery and interiors with crisp, elegant typography. Rigid, flat and cut to fit each section, the panels turned a standard booth into a refined property showroom, finished with a matching branded counter.

A shell scheme that steals the show

Who said a shell scheme has to be plain? Every panel of this stand was printed edge to edge on 5mm foam board, turning bare white walls into one sweeping illustrated scene of fiery skies, stars and moonlight. Light, rigid and cut to fit each section perfectly, the graphics slot straight into the frame for a seamless, gallery worthy booth.

A dolls house fit for Annabel's

Straight out of a storybook and into one of London's most exclusive private members clubs. This life size dolls house, complete with scalloped pink roof, striped awnings, arched doors and a white picket fence, was printed on our Fuji UV flatbed and precision cut on our Zund. Built from lightweight Smart-X sheets, it went up quickly at Annabel's and made the sweetest backdrop for a strawberry themed celebration.

Soft, dreamy and utterly huggable. These sweeping cream and blush arches set the scene for a teddy bear celebration, framed in clouds of gold, caramel and ivory balloons. We printed every panel on Smart-X sheets with our Fuji UV flatbed for a silky smooth finish and crisp lettering, then cut the arches to shape so they stand proud and picture perfect.

Foamex Printing FAQs

Which foamex thickness should I choose?

3mm suits light signs and posters, 5mm is the all rounder for displays and shell scheme panels, and 10mm is extra rigid for freestanding boards and large panels. Tell us where it is going and we will recommend one.

Can you cut foamex to a shape?

Yes. Every board is cut on our Zund digital cutter, so we can cut circles, arches, letters, logos and full contour cut shapes around your artwork.

Can foamex go outside?

Foamex is fine outdoors for short term use such as events. For long term outdoor signs we recommend ACM Dibond, which will not warp or fade.

What is the difference between foamex, Correx and ACM?

Foamex is a smooth, rigid foam board that is ideal indoors. Correx is a light, waterproof fluted plastic for cheap temporary outdoor signs. ACM is an aluminium composite panel for premium, long lasting outdoor signs.

Can I buy plain foamex sheets?

Yes. You can buy foamex sheets from us to print or use yourself, and collect them from Uxbridge.
