The brief
A private birthday party in the garden at Annabel’s with a strawberry garden theme. The client wanted the whole space to feel like stepping into a storybook: pink, playful and packed with detail, with a show stopping centrepiece for photos and a children’s dining area to match.
A house straight out of a fairytale
The star of the party was a life size storybook house, complete with a scalloped pink roof, striped awnings, arched doors, a white picket fence and a personalised name above the door. We printed every panel on our Fuji UV flatbed for bold, true to artwork colour, then precision cut each shape on our Zund so every scallop, arch and fence post came out crisp and clean.
To bring it to life we built it up in layers. The roof tiles, awnings, door arch and name plaque all sit proud of the house front, so the shadows give it real depth and it looks good from every angle.

Light to handle, quick to build
We built the house from lightweight Smart-X sheets, which are rigid enough to stand tall and light enough to carry through a members club without fuss. That meant a fast, tidy install in the garden, ready to be styled with the venue’s flowers and balloons.
Tables to match
For the children’s dining area we printed bespoke tables covered in juicy strawberries and zesty lemons, so the theme carried right through from the backdrop to the place settings.
The result
A picture perfect strawberry garden that delighted the guests, filled every phone with photos and showed just how far printed scenery can transform a space for one very special day.
